Today, the entire country is celebrating Eid with their loved ones and family. Apart from the celebration, Bollywood also celebrated Eid with its audience by releasing movies that turned out to be blockbusters. On Eid 2024, Bollywood released two movies Maidaan and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on Eid and fans are overwhelmed already. Top 10 Bollywood movies released on Eid

Bhool Bhulaiyaa – 2007

Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa was released on Eid 2007. The movie was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 32 crore and it earned Rs 82.837 crore globally.

Wanted – 2009

Salman Khan starrer Wanted which was released during Eid was the second highest-grossing movie of the year. It made a gross collection of Rs 93 crore.

Dabangg – 2010

There was a time when Salman Khan always locked Eid for his movies. After a blockbuster hit, he released Dabangg which collected Rs 221.14 crore at the worldwide box office and Rs 138.88 cr in India.

Bodyguard – 2011

Another Salman Khan movie that turned out to be a huge success on Eid. The movie which was reportedly made Rs 60 crore had a lifetime collection of Rs 148.86 crore.

Ek Tha Tiger – 2012

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Ek Tha Tiger rocked the Eid festival as it was one of the highest-grossing films of 2012. It made a gross collection of Rs 334.39 crore worldwide and Rs 198.78 crore in India.

Chennai Express – 2013

For a change, Shah Rukh Khan was the one who delivered a blockbuster other than Salman Khan. He treated fans with Chennai Express and broke several box office records by collecting Rs 227.13 crore.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan – 2015

Salman Khan came back in his form when he once again took over the Eid occasion for his movies. Bajrangi Bhaijaan earned Rs 320.34 crore in India and reportedly, earned around Rs 969 crore in the worldwide markets. This movie emerged as the second highest-grossing Hindi film of all time back in 2015.

Sultan – 2016

Sultan starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma was another blockbuster that was released on Eid. Ali Abbas Zafar’s film became one of the highest-grossing Indian films to collect Rs 623.33 crore worldwide. It earned Rs 300.45 crore in the Indian box office.

Bharat – 2019

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat was also one of the Bollywood movies that was released on Eid 2019. The movie earned Rs 211.07 crore in the domestic markets and collected Rs 325.58 crore globally.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan- 2023

Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was coinciding with Eid. It was a theatrical release and later it was released on the OTT platform. KKBKKJ earned Rs 110.53 crore in India and Rs 182.44 crore in the worldwide market.
